Building the Future of Neurodivergent Education

Every Child Deserves a Place Designed for Them.

At The Positivity Spectrum, we believe the goal should never be to force autistic children to fit into environments that were never designed for them. Instead, we believe in creating environments that recognize, celebrate, and support the unique ways neurodivergent children learn, communicate, think, and grow.

Since our founding in 2024, The Positivity Spectrum has worked to ensure that autistic individuals and their families have opportunities to participate fully in their communities. Through inclusive summer camps, legal advocacy, sensory-friendly events, educational training, and family support, we have served thousands of families across Northeast Ohio.

Now, we are taking our most ambitious step yet.

In 2027, The Positivity Spectrum plans to open The Positivity Spectrum Center in Twinsburg, Ohio—a first-of-its-kind center where education, therapeutic services, and family support come together under one roof.

This will not simply be another educational program.

It will be an entirely different way of thinking about education, therapy, and community.

We cannot meet this ambitious timeline without community support.

Help us lay the bricks for this revolutionary community.

We understand autism.

We understand behavior.

We understand giftedness.

Most importantly, we understand that every child deserves an environment intentionally designed around how they learn best. Different by Design. Successful by Intention.

Every Child Deserves an Education Designed for Who They Are.

The Positivity Spectrum Center is an innovative educational and community hub created specifically for twice-exceptional (2e), ADHD, AuDHD, PDA profile, and autistic learners whose brilliance is often overlooked by traditional educational, recreational, and therapeutic service models.

Here, we don’t expect children to earn their education through compliance.

We understand autism.

We understand behavior.

We understand giftedness.

Most importantly, we understand that every child deserves an environment intentionally designed around how they learn best.

Different by Design. Successful by Intention.

For Families

How We’re Different

Most schools ask:

“How can this child fit into our classroom?”

We ask:“How can we build a community where this child thrives?”

That single question changes everything.

Instead of changing children to fit our program, we design our program around each child.

We recognize that anxiety isn’t defiance.Executive functioning isn’t laziness.

Demand avoidance isn’t manipulation.Behavior is communication.

Children deserve understanding—not punishment

Our students are often:

Twice Exceptional (2e)

AuDHD

PDA Profile

Autism Hyperlexic learners

Gifted students with executive functioning challenges

Creative thinkers

Deep feelers

Children who have struggled in traditional schools despite remarkable potential

Many families come to us after hearing:“They’re so smart, but…”We help remove the “but.”

We will know your child. We will celebrate your child’s strengths. We will understand their challenges. We will partner with your family. We will never define your child by their hardest moments. Because education is a right—not a reward for compliance.

For Donors

If you have spent any time in or alongside the neurodivergent community, you know there is a significant gap between the resources families need and the resources that actually exist.

The Positivity Spectrum Center is being built to give local autism families something they desperately need: a community hub designed around their realities, where children are welcomed, caregivers are supported, and families do not have to navigate everything alone.

Your donation can help provide a safe place where autistic children can play, connect, and be themselves while exhausted caregivers take a much-needed break.

You can help support a room in our homeschool learning center, where sensory-sensitive and twice-exceptional children can learn in a supportive, low-demand environment designed to meet their individual needs—with access to the therapists, educators, and professionals who understand them and can respond when additional support is needed.

And your gift does more than fund a physical space. It tells an autism family: We see you. We believe you. You belong here.

By helping us build The Positivity Spectrum Center, you are telling local families that you are an ally—that even if your life experience looks vastly different from theirs, you are willing to stand beside them and help make life a little more accessible, a little less isolating, and a whole lot better.

Help us build the community our families deserve.

For Educators:

Every student deserves an educational environment where they can access learning, develop their strengths, and make meaningful progress. For some twice-exceptional, autistic, and PDA-profile students, achieving that goal requires an educational model that looks different from a traditional classroom.

These students can present unique challenges—and unique opportunities. Some are exceptionally gifted but struggle to access grade-level instruction because of their disability. Others require significant behavioral, sensory, or regulation supports. Some need asynchronous learning, a lower-demand environment, specialized curriculum, or additional time in certain areas while moving well beyond grade level in others.

We recognize that school districts are working within complex systems, limited resources, staffing challenges, and increasingly diverse student needs. Sometimes, despite the best efforts of a district, the highly individualized environment a particular student requires simply cannot be effectively replicated within a traditional school setting.

That is where The Positivity Spectrum Center can help.

Through our Different By Design Program, we are developing an alternative educational environment specifically designed for students whose needs fall outside the traditional classroom model.

Our goal is not to replace the important work being done by public schools. Our goal is to partner with districts to help find successful solutions for students who need something different.

We welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with district leadership, special education teams, educators, and families to determine whether an out-of-district placement at The Positivity Spectrum Center may be appropriate for a particular student.

We believe that when a student requires a highly specialized curriculum or support model, the answer should not be forcing that student to fit an environment that was not designed for them.

Instead, we can design the environment around the student.

We would love the opportunity to meet with your district leadership and special education team, learn more about the students you serve, and discuss how The Positivity Spectrum Center’s Different By Design Program could become a resource for your district and the students who need it most.

Different doesn’t mean less. Different means designing education around the learner.

Given a wholesome, supportive environment, the laser focus that monotropism lends to autistic people could be a source of enormous good – not just for us, but for society at large.
